"It's in excellent condition, and it looks just as good up close as it does in the photos. An older renovation (circa 1970s-1980s) that is still in good show condition."

Description

Just over 16 years ago, the car arrived at the Arvika car museum. It has beautiful paint, decor, and brass detailing. A historically significant vehicle that belongs in any car collection. From a technical standpoint, it should be possible to get started and run using simple means. All of the parts are in place, and the engine spins by hand. It hasn't been started in years.

Facts about the model

Henry Ford built his first car in 1896 and in 1903 he started The Ford Motor Company. His business idea was to build cars which even his factory workers were able to buy. In 1908 the production of the Model T started ”The car which put the world on wheels”. Until 1927, when the production stopped, there were more than 15 million model T´s built. This record was not broken until 1972 when VW type 1, the beetle, became the world's most sold car. In the year 1922, 447 of about 1417 cars, which were registered in Värmland, were a Model T, that was 32% of the market. The car should be easy to repair and long lasting. The car had large tires, which was good in connection with the bad road standard in 1900. Up to 1915 the cars had cooler, lights, hubcaps and fittings made in brass.
