Description

The car was in Mälardalen until 2019, when it was sold to the car museum in Härnösand. Now sold to make way for something new. The car's body and interior are unusually complete and nice. There is no major damage, but there are some minor surface rust stains, as shown in the photos.
A documentation folder is included. Between 1970 and 1996, just one owner.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

    The engine runs smoothly and powerfully. The automatic transmission needs to be serviced. Slowly progresses from the second to the third. According to reports, the gearbox was rebuilt in 1997. Inspection July 2018 approval for the future.

  • Interior condition:

    Interior in worn condition.

  • Exterior condition:

    After some bodywork renovation, it was repainted. Wings and doors are in good condition, with the exception of a scratch/dent on the left front

  • General condition:

    A good car in general, but a little polishing and paint enhancement makes it even better. It's a pleasure to drive, but maintenance may be required. The automatic transmission must be serviced separately.

Facts about the model

Den första Rovern av modellserien P6 var 2000 med en fyrcylindrig toppventilmotor på 1978 cm3 och 90 hästkrafter. Produktionen startade 1963 och fortsatte till 1977. Däremellan försågs P6:an även med dubbla förgasare, 2000 TC på 110 hk, samt att en motor med större slagvolym introducerades som Rover 2200 SC, 98 hk, och 2200 TC på 115 hk.
1968 kom Rover 3500 med en 3,5 liters V8 på 155 hk, De första åren fanns den bara med automatlåda då Rovers manuella växellåda inte klarade av det höga vridmomentet. I Sverige såldes i princip bara bilar med automatlåda men 1971 kom även en manuellt växlade 3500 i produktion, 3500 S.
Som 1971 årsmodell kom en uppdaterad front med bl.a. en modernare svart plastgrill som ersatte den ursprungliga aluminiumgrillen.

Important to know before placing your bids!
  • Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
  • When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
  • If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
  • If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
  • Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
  • For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
