Volvo Amazon 121 B18 — 1965

• Zustand technisch

  Equipped with Volvo's classic B18 engine and four-speed M40 gearbox. Starts easily and has a normal engine sound. Shifts smoothly through the gears. The car will be delivered freshly serviced, with a thoroughly checked ignition system as well as new engine oil and filter. A new rear exhaust system has been installed.

• Zustand Interieur

  Seat covers have been on the seats since the car was new and were only recently removed, ensuring the seats are in excellent condition without wear. Everything is genuine, and nothing has been altered or mishandled. Please examine the fine condition of the instrument panel, the finish of the gauge face, and the steering wheel.
  We found a small hole in the rubber mat, by the accelerator pedal, caused by the sole of the shoe where the driver rested their foot. This is a minor detail mentioned only because the rest of the interior is so incredibly well-preserved. On the rear parcel shelf, there's the classic nodding dog from the 1960s. (See the video)
  The luggage compartment is well-maintained with the original rubber mat and lining paper in great condition.

• Zustand Exterieur

  Original paint from 1965 in very good condition. Four years ago, the family had the door sills repainted. A well-known local painter did the work. At the same time, they addressed screw holes from previous side mirrors. This touch-up is barely noticeable. New Volvo door mirrors in their original box are included. The new owner can decide whether to mount them or opt for fender mirrors instead. There are a few touch-up spots from stone chips on the front. See the photo. There are also some stone chip repairs by the rear mudguards. See the photo. There are a few rust spots on the top of the right front bumper half. See the photo. The car has never been welded. It simply hasn't been necessary. The underside was treated with Tectyl rustproofing early in the 1960s.

• Zustand gesamt

  A genuinely well-maintained original car. It's hard to find a better one that's been used over the years and hasn't been restored. A car like this appeals to everyone who loves the Volvo Amazon.

• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
