Beschreibung
This car with the chassis number CRH5040 came to Sweden in 1976 and appears to have retained its original paintwork. The paint has some small scratches but gives a very good overall impression. This is an honest, untouched car that’s been carefully used with correct detailing right down to the original tool kit.
The cabriolet roof has been changed in recent years, and the head liner needs to be tightened. The leather interior and woodwork has patina but is complete.
This Silver Shadow Cabriolet goes well and has not covered many miles. The electric motor that operates the roof needs be reconditioned.
When Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow came in 1965, it was a very advanced car with Citroën hydraulic self leveling suspension, and disc brakes all around. Silver Shadow was built until 1981, but the convertible version continued to be manufactured until 1996.

Fakten zum Modell
A distinctive feature was a high-pressure hydropneumatic suspension system licensed from Citroën, with dual-circuit braking and hydraulic self-leveling suspension. At first, both the front and rear of the car were controlled by the leveling system; the front leveling was deleted in 1969 as it had been determined that the rear leveling did almost all the work. Rolls-Royce achieved a high degree of ride quality with this arrangement.
