SAAB 900i 2.0 Coupé Jubiléum — 1988

Until 2013, this fine SAAB coupé was owned by a Saab mechanic in Blekinge. Few miles and has been well cared for since it was new.
The Jubilee cars had special equipment and furnishings and were all lacquered in Odoardo grey metallic colour with Jubilee decor stripes.
Equipped with sunroof, towbar, turbo steering wheel, aerowing, chrome grill and the so-called Super-Inca rims.
Reddish brown interior with oxblood colored seats in leather matches nicely to the metallic grey decor. The car is in a groomed original condition. Only the lower parts on the doors and rear fenders are professionally fixed and repainted a few years ago (very well done).

  Nice to drive. Mecanically in good condition.

  The interior is in a proper and fine condition, The ceiling however hangs down a bit.

  Nice in lacquer and decor. A small repair due to surface rust just round the rear hatch lock.

  A car that looks good and is nice to drive. Good overall impression.

To continue to honor Saab's 50-celebrations the 900 model came as an extra cool design for model year 1988. The previous year, Saab 900 had undergone a facelift with, among other things, a new front design that reduced air resistance by five percent. The body was of the sportiest type three door hatchback and the color dark Odoardo grey metallic.
Two engine options were available, both based on the classic 2 liter engine with 8 valves.The effect is 110 horsepower (900i) and 145 hp (900 turbo) respectively.
900 Jubilee was produced in low numbers, a total of only 805 pieces whereof the 900i version was manufactured in only 300 copies.
Number of remaining cars are few, 900 Jubilee is close to be a unique rarity.
The 3 door body of the first 900 series (1978-93) is considered to be one of the most cult from Saab. Design manager Björn Envall had allowed modern form ideals to influence him from the basic design Saab 99, signed Sixten Sason. 900i Anniversary has the delicious "Super Inca" wheels that took the 3-spoke rims one step further, along with special stripes, chrome front grill and a spoiler package "Aero" is the 900i anniversary of a sporty Saab.
The interior continues on the luxurious and sporty track with Oxblood leather, tinted windows around and much lull-lull. Sunroof, cruise control, power steering, central locking, electric windows and electrically operated side rearview mirrors are just a few examples from the DiGRA equipment list for the 900i Jubilee.
