The car is manufactured in Uddevalla, for export and sold new by Volvo dealers in Gelsenkirchen Germany in 2002 to the Wagemans family in Appeldoom in the Netherlands. It was then in the shop window of the Volvo dealer Mohag in Gelsenkirschen, near the Dutch border. (The car cost 26,450 Euros).
Wagemans had a summer house in Dalarna and wanted a Swedish summer car in Sweden. Preferably red and preferably manual, so this car fit perfectly, originally equipped with finer 17-inch wheels, sports chassis, towbar and wind guard as well as dark grey leather upholstery (ACC etc. was standard). In the summer of 2007, Wagemans moved to Sweden permanently and then registered the car and had it as a second car. They had it for 10 years until it was sold to an acquaintance in Värmland and later to a Volvo enthusiast in Broby. All documents since the car was new are in a folder as well as inspection documents and service receipts. The timing belt was replaced in 2012 at 8000 km and after this, the car has only been driven in the summers, from 2800 km to 10880 km, over the past 10 years, the timing belt has been changed again in May 2022. The car is in a very well-maintained original condition. has never been damaged or rusty. Nice paint and interior and nice strong turbo engine of 163 hp. Best collector's condition for a Volvo enthusiast who wants a fine copy of a model that is already a classic thanks to the fabric hood.

Fakten zum Modell
C70 ritades av Peter Horbury och visades första gången på Paris Motor Show 1997 och då den lanserades i Europa. Året efter släpptes den i USA (Volvos största marknad). Den stegvisa lanseringen var avsiktlig för att säkerställa kvalitén av en bilmodell som var helt ny för Volvo. C70 utvecklades för att vara Volvos svar på Mercedes-Benz CLK-klass och byggdes för hand på nya fabriken i Uddevalla fram till 2003.
Vacker bil men marknaden för coupéer och cabrioletter är begränsad och bilen var dyr varför den såldes i förhållandevis få exemplar, vilket gör den till en riktig samlarbil idag. Särskilt med de med turbomotorer är eftertraktade.
Volvoentusiaster har frambringat en kult kring sportiga C70 och liknar den vid dess sportiga föregångare P1800, på grund av den nyskapande designen och ändamålsenlig prestanda och körglädje. Byggdes i bara knappt 30.000 ex.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
