The car was driven in central Sweden until the 1980s and then parked. A VW enthusiast handed in the car to the Fahlke Classic car for renovation, to be able to use the car as a wedding car. From 2017 to 2018, the car underwent a professional body renovation where it was lifted from the base plate. The base plate and chassis were also renovated and a new engine was installed. (A basically new VW 1200 industrial engine of 30 hp). Everything on the chassis is new, brakes, bearings, shock absorber tyres etc. The base plate is blasted and painted. The body was fully painted while disassembled. After this, everything is reassembled and what was worn is replaced or repaired. New carpets and a new headliner is in the car. Seats and door cards have original upholstery and in unusually good condition, see photos. After a swap deal four years later, the car is now for sale.

It feels like the car has a new engine. The generator was also renovated and the battery replaced. The car is nice to drive. The car is lowered a few centimetres, which looks nice.

Fresh interior and original. With the old seats, the car does not look newly renovated but only very well maintained, which we think is better. Gives more charm to the car.

Very nice body and paint in the original Agave Green colour. Professionally repainted. No damage or scratches. All trim and rubber details etc. are new. Also footsteps and exhaust system.

Very nice and good bubbla with the old charming original 50's style preserved. The car looks completely original and it has cost more than SEK 200,000 in renovation work, which can be seen in all details. All the mechanics have been renovated so it is nice to drive, even on long trips or holidays. Completely ready to go

Ovalbubblan byggdes 1953 till 1957. Bland de mest eftertraktade modellerna då de har det mesta av urspungsformerna och linjerna kvar, men med bättre teknik, säten, motor och bromsar. Så passa på. Helt rätt bil för kräsen samlare.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
