A late VW Cabriolet in a nice combo of classic looks and very usable. Boxer engine of 1584 cubic = 1600 and 50 hp. The electrical system of 12 Volts, disc brakes at the front and a top speed of 130 km is enough.
Here in a nice colour combination with nice chrome wheels and tyres. Imported to Sweden in 1985. The other owner has used and loved the car in the summertime for 35 years. It got a new paint job just over 25 years ago. New convertible top ten years ago.

Everything works and the engine runs excellently. Newly renovated brakes, discs and calipers a couple of years ago. New tank. Inspected.

Seats, upholstery and headliner in good condition with some patina. Controls and functions are in good condition. seat belts at the front and waist belts at the back. Newer CD stereo.

The paint looks respectable but has some bubbles and a couple of small dents on the right door. Convertible top and convertible top protection in good condition. Glass clear and fine condition. Wider chrome wheels in good condition and tyres.

A nice cabriolet in good working order that can continue to please the next owner. There are details to fix but nothing urgent, just enjoy open top fun this summer

Fakten zum Modell
Efter att produktionen av Bubblan kommit igång blev det även öppna vagnar from 1949. Fanns olika varianter, både två och fyrsitsiga men Karmann-versionerna tog över. Deras fyrsitsiga versioner hade redan från början gedigen hantverkskvalitet med god precession. Inte minst gäller det sufflettarrangemanget i hög kvalitet och gedigna material, som även fungerade vintertid. De öppna vagnarna kom att utvecklas i stort sett som en vanlig "bubbla".
De senare modellerna av VW Typ 1 blev allt motorstarkare, fick större bagageutrymme och tidstypiska inredningsdetaljer för ökad säkerhet såsom tex. inbyggda nackstöd. Till 1973 kom även en helt ny instrumentbräda samt panoramavindruta. Exteriört större baklysen och tanklucka med "fingergrepp" . General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
