The Ascona GT has a reputation for being more sporty than its more basic siblings, which are equipped with less powerful engines. This model features a fast engine with 115 horsepower, a manual transmission with 5 gears, sporty aluminium wheels, a glass sunroof that can be opened, and seats that hug the body. A CD player that also obviously functions as a radio may be found installed. In addition, there is a holder for cassette tapes, which was more commonly utilised for a previous cassette radio that has since been retired. After being stored away for the winter, the original radio antenna is still present but has not been mounted.
According to all accounts, the Opel Ascona has been treated with an exceptional level of care throughout its lifetime. As can be seen, the odometer does not appear to have moved very far in the last few years. This, in conjunction with the fact that it has been stored on Gotland for a significant amount of time and the absence of salt in the roads there, is most likely what has contributed to its relatively low level of rust. Since it last had maintenance and inspection in the fall of 2021, the Ascona has travelled a total of around 50 kilometres.

Functions well in both the engine and the transmission. It has a more athletic vibe compared to the other Ascona that you are used to.

Ett skick som man kan förvänta sig av en Opel som inte passerat 10 000 mil. Ventilationsgallret vid bakrutan är delvis trasigt. Nya delar medföljer.

En bil i ett ovanligt bra bruksskick. De brukar vara bortrostade och slutkörda vid det här laget. Allt tyder på att denna bil gått cirka 7 000 mil men mätaren slår om vid 10 000 mil så den kan ha gått 17 000 mil men det är inte troligt med tanke på skicket.

Fakten zum Modell
Detta är tredje serien av Opel Ascona som tillverkades mellan 1981 och 1988. Den kallades fär Ascona C. Den var en mycket populär bil. Uppskattad för sin enkla och robusta konstruktion. De var liksom många Oplar rostkänsliga så att hitta ett sådant bra exemplar som detta är inte det lättaste och dessutom i GT Sport utförande.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
