We don't know much about this car.Due to engine difficulties, the Mercedes has changed hands several times since 1994.The car was last inspected in 1993 and has been off the road since 1994. It wouldn't start, and none of the previous owners could figure out what was wrong. The car was given to the current owner in 2018, and he was able to repair the engine.
The intake was disassembled, and the problem was found, so the car now runs perfectly. Given the prolonged halt, the car should be overhauled and serviced. With a little work, this Mercedes may be a nice car.

It performs well in the engine and driveline. It shift smoothly and softly in the gearbox. Accelerates quickly and is alert. The sunroof needs a review.

Fakten zum Modell
Den nya S-klassen introducerades hösten 1979. Tyngdpunkten låg nu på lågt luftmotstånd och lägre bränsleförbrukning än hos företrädarna. Tekniskt var bilen en vidareutveckling av W116. På V8-versionerna göts även motorblocken i aluminium till skillnad från W116 som hade gjutjärnsblock. Till 1986 uppdaterades bilarna med uppfräschad kaross och modifierade motorer. Bland annat infördes de nya sexorna från W124:an.
Utrustningslistan är längre än hos W116 och till exempel kunde låsningsfria bromsar fås från början och krockkudde från hösten 1981.

- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
