This car is just as wonderful in person as it appears in the photos. Unrenovated in original condition, with only 10,000 km travelled. Straight and good body with matching shut lines. Excellent paint and chrome. The interior is charming and original. His estate is selling the car; the collector was fastidious and had owned it since 2004. It was most likely sold in Sweden, but it dropped off the register in the 1970s and was re-registered in 1986, but it was first inspected for registration and returned to traffic in 1996. It was most likely garaged from the 1970s to the 1990s, which is why it has lasted so well. The present owner has also kept it in a dry garage and has only used it a few times since 2005, when it was last approved on the car test.

Very nice engine compartment and a 3.4 l engine with a manual gearbox with overdrive. Has not been test started, as the battery was missing. According to information from the owner's mechanic, the car was last driven two years ago. It needs start service and a new battery as well as approval from the car test centre before it can be used on the road again.

Fakten zum Modell
Jaguar Mk II tillverkades mellan 1959 och 1969. Endast mindre förändringar skedde under produktionstiden. De största var servostyrningen 1960 och den helsynkroniserade växellådan fem år senare. I linjerna påminde Mk II mycket om sin föregångare med sin mjukt rundade bak. Jaguar Mk II var en snabb bil, särskilt om ägaren valt 3,8- eller 3,4-literssexan framför den mindre 2,4-litersmotorn på 120 hk. Alla med bas i Jaguars klassiska raka sexa med aluminiumtopp och dubbla överliggande kamaxlar. Totalt tillverkades Jaguar Mark II i 83,976 exemplar uppdelat enligt nedan: 2.4 litre – 25,173, 3.4 litre – 28,666, 3.8 litre – 30,141.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
