Fakten zum Modell
Heinkel Kabine was a German microcar that was manufactured in Speyer between 1956 and 1958, then in Ireland in 1958 - 1960 and in England under the name Trojan 1961 - 1964.
Heinkel successfully sold a scooter, Heinkel Tourist, for a few years. From this one picked up the engine, a 175 cc four-stroke 9.2 hp. The top speed was set at 86 km / h, 1 km more than the BMW Isetta.
A 204 cc engine was also produced. Due to amended regulations, this was reduced to 198 cc. From the beginning, the 175-cubic meter was three-wheel, and the 204-cubic four-wheeler, later used only the engine of 198 cc. The top speed then increased to 90 km / h.
According to the sales brochure, the wagon held two adults and two children, and was thus more spacious than both the Messerschmitt KR200 and the BMW Isetta. In practice, not two children larger than the age of three can sit behind the engine door. Most spacious among Mc cars was Fram-King-Fulda, with a back seat more worth the name than Heinkeln's
