A man from Eringsboda bought the car new in 1983, delivered by Volvex in Blekinge. He used it sparingly until 1988, when a man from eastern Blekinge bought it. This man drove the Volvo until 1989, when he fell ill and the car was taken off the road and put away in a garage.
The current owner bought the car in 2023 and began a mechanical restoration that was completed this past summer. There is no serious rust damage, but some surface rust is visible in a few places. The car received praise at the Swedish vehicle inspection for its fine condition. See the owner's comments on what has been done since the purchase.

The car runs excellently and everything works well. The current owner has carried out a number of repairs since the purchase (see description).

Zustand Interieur
Very fine and well-preserved original interior with only a few signs of use. The seats look almost completely unused.

Zustand Exterieur
Fine paint with a few minor blemishes. Surface rust is present at the rear fender edges, along with some door edge chips and a small blemish on the trunk lid. The chrome is fine but has a couple of small dents on the bumper trim and one of the side moldings. The tires are new and mounted on blasted and repainted original wheels. The undercarriage is free from serious rust damage and has never been welded.

Jag hämtade bilen hösten 2023 och tog hem den till mitt garage, där påbörjade jag en mekanisk renovering.
Följande är gjort fram till besiktningen i somras:
Bytt till ett renoverat topplock och ny original kam.
Kamrem, spännare och vattenpump är nytt.
Ny fördelare, tändkablar och stift.
Nybytt bränsletank (begagnad).
Nytt original Volvo avgassystem (NOS).
Stötdämpare fram och bak samt styrleder och spindelleder är nya.
Renoverad huvudbromscylinder, nya bromsok samt slangar och belägg.
Nytt värmepaket.
Ny tankarmatur.
Blästrat och lackat originalfälgarna och monterat nya däck.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
