The car has driven 8400 kilometers. Original tires are still fitted,and the car has a full service history. The present owner is the car's second owner and has had it parked for more than 25 years.
The car was purchased new by the first owner, an older guy, in 1974. He and his wife travelled about 200 kilometers every year in their car until 1979, when his wife died. The owner was a machinist and a car pedant. During the winter, the chrome was lubricated with grease. When the owner's wife died, he no longer wanted to utilize the car. He did, however, start the car at regular times outside the garage while it was not in use. The owner allowed his workshop to drive it to and from the inspection, and it was also the car's first excursion on the road in many years. A few years later, the owner of the workshop purchased the car, which has since been stored in a garage.

Zustand technisch
All wheel cylinders renovated due to age. Water pump also changed due to age and the car has been stationary for many years. Clutch plate replaced. All original parts are saved. The car still retains the factory tires, which are old and not very round. Otherwise, there is still plenty of tread to go around.

The age of the car can be observed underneath on the suspension arm and other spots where there is surface rust and oxidation. A little spots of surface rust on the bodywork, as well as a blister on the boot.

Fakten zum Modell
Saab 95 som var kombimodellen av Saab 96 ritades av den kände industridesignern Sixten Sason och tillverkades av Saab mellan 1960 till 1978. Saab 96 var en vidareutveckling av Saab 93 och hade stora likheter med föregångaren, som i sin tur var en vidareutveckling av Saabs första personbil - Saab 92. Under 1967 gick man över från 2-taktsmotorer till V4 motorn. De sista åren kallades kombin för 95 L V4 kombi, då bilens motor fått några fler hästkrafter (68 Hkr) och förbättrats på flera punkter. Dessa bilar känns igen på de tjockare kofångarna och var toppmodellen av Saab 95. Saab 96 var en mycket framgångsrik tävlingsbil, särskilt inom rally. Bland höjdpunkterna märks Erik Carlssons segrar i RAC-rallyt 1960, 1961 och 1962, Monte Carlo-rallyt 1962 och 1963. Stig Blomqvist segrade i RAC-rallyt 1971 och Svenska rallyt 1971, 1972 och 1973. Sista stora segern var Svenska rallyt 1976, med Per Eklund bakom ratten. På många av dessa rallyn fungerade kombibilarna, Saab 95, som servicebilar och fick gå lika hårt som tävlingsbilarna då de skulle hinna fram till nästa etapp i rätt tid för reservdelar och underhåll. Dessa servicebilar var ofta mer trimmade än tävlingsbilarna för att klara tunga laster. Fina exemplar, som denna bil, fullt funktionsdugliga och utan rost är idag sällsynta, då de slitits ut eftersom de var mycket praktiska och prisvärda.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
