The car has passed inspection and is ready to drive. It is equipped with a tow hitch and engine heater. A newer stereo with a soundbar speaker unit (Top Sound 7000) on the roof has been installed. A new decal set for Magnum comes with the car.

Zustand technisch
The car starts easily and runs smoothly in the engine. The gear shifting, clutch, and brakes are all in good working order. There's a newer cabin fan and additional heat for the back seat (currently disconnected). The underside and wheel arches appear to be in good condition, though not checked on a lift.
Regarding the camper, no functional test was conducted, but it's reportedly in good working condition. It features lighting, a 12-230V converter, and a solar panel for charging. Freshwater and graywater tanks are installed underneath. -
Zustand Interieur
The interior is in good condition with some wear. The door panel on the back door is newly made but not in the original design, yet durable. The clock and fuel gauge are not functioning.
The camper is in its original condition with normal wear. It includes a washbasin and a porta-potti. There is a wardrobe and storage space. The camper is equipped with a gas stove, a new fridge, a radio, and a fresh air fan. The sofas are in original fabric and can be converted into a 200x120 cm bed. In the front, there is a bed measuring 200x160 cm. Overall, it is in good condition and well-organized. The roof can be raised to full standing height. -
Zustand Exterieur
The car has a new paint job in good condition. The few small signs of rust that were present before have been repaired during the painting process. Otherwise, the car is in good original condition. The truck bed shows some normal wear. It has nice rims with newer C-tires.
The camper is in good original condition but appears somewhat worn and has normal signs of aging. -
Zustand gesamt
Some parts have been repaired, and others have normal wear for its age. The mechanical components are in good condition. Whether the vehicle is used with or without the camper, it remains an interesting classic vehicle with many possibilities for both transportation and outdoor activities. It is a delightful combination.

Fakten zum Modell
Its successor, the T3, was introduced as a 1980 model and remained in production until 1992, with approximately 1,750,000 units built. The Transporter Type 3 came in various versions with different specifications depending on the model year and market. It was available as a single cab with a flatbed, double cab with a flatbed, and a range of transport versions in different configurations. Not to mention the numerous bus and camper variants. Whether equipped with an air-cooled or water-cooled engine, carburetor or fuel injection, front-wheel drive, or the Syncro four-wheel-drive system, it proved to be a sturdy and reliable companion for all kinds of transportation needs.
When Volkswagen discontinued the Tristar model, they introduced a new version called Magnum. These vehicles were painted in white and red, similar to the Tristar. The Magnum was available with a 95-horsepower engine and a four-speed gearbox or a fuel-injected 111-horsepower engine with a five-speed gearbox. They featured unique stripes and the "Magnum" text. Some of the features included aluminum rims, and they could be ordered with power steering. In Sweden, all vehicles with the fuel-injected engine came with square headlights, although there might be exceptions.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
