Miss Birgitta Hultgren bought the car new in November 1967. The documentation states that it cost 12,251 SEK according to the original purchase receipt and warranty documents. She traded in a 1966 1300 model and paid 4,651 SEK as the price difference. The car was delivered by the Volkswagen-Scania dealer in Norrköping called Dieselprodukter AB. Their decal is still attached to the rear window. After a couple of years, the car was sold to the Petterson family in Norrköping, who owned it until 2020. During the Pettersons' ownership, the car underwent extensive rust protection treatment, and in the 1980s, new fenders and footrests were installed. Some rust damage was repaired, and the car was repainted. After this, the car was rarely used until 2020 when it was sold to a collector, who took good care of it, serviced it, and drove it sparingly in recent summers. The car is in good condition, but it has some touch-up paint spots. The engine, gearbox, and brakes are in good working order. It has been well-maintained over the years with extensive documentation and it passed the latest inspection on October 14, 2020. The total mileage is 136 440 km according to the odometer and documents, which also aligns with its condition and feel.

- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
