This low-mileage Datsun 280ZX 2+2 Targa is a head-turner on the road. It has been owned by four Datsun enthusiasts over the years, with the last two being from the same family. The car has never undergone body or engine restoration, and it retains its original paint. It has always been stored indoors in a favorable climate, ensuring it remains in excellent condition.
All the windows have been etched with theft protection, and the car is equipped with a high-pressure siren. In 2017, the car was purchased in Ystad and driven to Västerås, where it was stored in a waiting garage. In the same year, it received comprehensive rust protection treatment and had its AC system overhauled. During this process, all drive belts were replaced, and the Targa roof panels were refurbished due to paint deterioration.
New tires were fitted in 2021, a new battery in 2022, and it received an oil service. Nowadays, it primarily resides in a heated garage but is occasionally taken out for various car gatherings and enjoyable drives. This particular Datsun 280ZX is in excellent condition and passed its inspection in May 2022. All auxiliary equipment, including the AC, functions as intended, except for the original cassette player, which has decided to retire.

The engine and drivetrain perform well, and the air conditioning is functional. However, the original cassette tape player is not in working order. The car underwent a thorough rust protection treatment in 2017. It has been regularly serviced, as shown in the pictures.

The floor mats are in excellent condition, and the upholstery on the seats is pristine without any flaws. However, the headliner is slightly sagging around the Targa roof panels.

Fakten zum Modell
The Nissan 280ZX, also known as the Datsun 280ZX, was manufactured between 1979 and 1983. It featured a straight 6-cylinder engine, either with a 2.0-liter or 2.8-liter displacement. The 280ZX was slightly longer than its predecessors, the 240Z and 260Z, which allowed for the option of a small rear seat. The model had fold-down rear seatbacks, which meant that despite its distinct sports car character, it could still function as a compact "hatchback." It has often been celebrated for its durability. The 280ZX is relatively rare in Sweden.

When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
