It is powered by a 90hp Opel 1900 engine. 4-speed transmission with a sporty shifter. Brake system includes two circuits, a brake servo, and front disc brakes. Starts and can be driven. A new rear exhaust system has been installed. Before the examination, the brakes should be serviced and overhauled.

Zustand Interieur
Considering the age and mileage, the interior in fabric and synthetic leather is in good shape. Slightly wavy door panels, regular wear on the driver's seat, and holes in the upholstery, as shown in the photos. Very nice headliner. Traces can be seen on the dashboard from prior radio installation. Nice boot.

Zustand Exterieur
Partial original paint with improvement.Both rear doors have repaired dents, and the left rear door need minor alignment. Excellent chrome and mouldings. There is no notable corrosion. It is advised that new seal be fitted on the side windows. On the driver's side, a large stone chip in the windshield. Fitted with chrome wheel rings which were a popular option.

Consistently good overall impression; a car in this condition is uncommon to come by, whether in Sweden or overseas. Before the car can be utilised again, it must be serviced and inspected. Excellent collectors' condition.

Fakten zum Modell
Opel Rekord B fanns alltså bara ett enda år och var en blandning av gammalt och nytt. Karossen var från Rekord A med modifierad front och akterparti.
Chassiet var också från Rekord A vilket innebar stel bakaxel upphängd i bladfjädrar. Det helt nya var motorn där kamaxeln hade flyttat upp i topplocket. Vevaxeln var numera lagrad i 5 lager. Motorn fanns från början i 1500, 1700 och 1900 versioner. Många Rekord B som såldes i Sverige var utrustade med 1900-motorn med tvåportsförgasare på 90 hk som gav bilen hyggligt god prestanda. Enligt uppgifter från Transportstyrelsen finns i dag färre än 60 stycken 4-dörrars Opel Rekord av årsmodellerna 1965 till 1966 registrerade i Sverige.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
