Zustand technisch
It starts with gasoline directly into the air intake and sounds good, but then it doesn't run. A test drive could not be completed, but it ran briefly, allowing for some video clips to be taken. Otherwise, everything appears to work well, but as it has been stationary for some time, a thorough inspection is recommended. It has not been checked on a lift, but it has undergone recent bodywork, and what could be seen looked good.

Zustand Interieur
According to information, the interior has had covers since new. The original upholstery looks very nice when the fitted covers are removed. Door panels, headliner, and carpets are in good condition but could be improved with a detailing. There is some wear at the bottom of the door panels, and the sun visors have discoloration. The wood trim is in good condition with a couple of small drill holes at the center console. A period-correct Blaupunkt music system is installed. The electric sunroof works well.

Zustand Exterieur
The car has been repainted in its original color and looks glossy and nice, with some minor imperfections around certain window seals. It features nice Baroque-style wheels and good tires. The chrome, glass, and rubber are in good condition, although there are a couple of small stone chips in the windshield. It's equipped with an SEC hood. The engine and trunk compartments are in good condition.

A 280 Coupé Einspritz is a quality-built car from Mercedes from the 1970s, with a fine six-cylinder engine and good performance. It requires an overhaul to get it back on the road. However, with that said, you will then have a sought-after, solid, and elegant classic.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
