Zustand technisch
This MG is a solid and reliable drive with excellent road handling. I took it for a 20 km spin without any issues. Minor fixes needed include a valve cover gasket replacement, handbrake lever adjustment, and some carburetor tuning. It might stumble a bit during cold starts but runs smoothly once warmed up. The car comes with great wheels and tires, and the rear axle has been replaced, likely from an MGA, with the original one included (see pictures).

Zustand Interieur
The interior of this MG is impressively fresh and clean, featuring a well-preserved dashboard and original instrumentation. It includes the original steering wheel, adding to its authenticity. While the leather seats are intact, there's a minor issue with cracked leather and a small hole on the driver's side, and some wear on the door card. The mats are in good condition. Additionally, the car comes with a clip-on tonneau cover that's easy to fit, though it's missing a clip button. An appealing extra feature is the folding Brooklands screens, which enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of this classic beauty

Zustand Exterieur
This MG is in great shape, with no rust or dents in the bodywork and a clean underbody. The paintwork, while generally clean, has some cracking around the front and rear wings and a small touch-up on the passenger wing (see pictures). The chrome work is excellent, and there's an additional spotlights fitted. The roof is intact but has a minor issue on the driver's corner.

This MG TD ranks among the best I've driven in recent memory. It requires only the mentioned fixes, and while the paintwork may benefit from a future repaint, it can certainly be enjoyed in its current condition. Moreover, it comes with extensive documentation, making it an appealing choice for any MG enthusiast.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
