The current owners bought the car in 2012 and drove it back to Blekinge. He claims that while the engine operated nicely, the transmission slipped somewhat. He stored it away to be fixed when he returned home, but now he realizes he doesn't have enough time, so he sells it to another enthusiast.

The engine does not start, most likely owing to a lack of fuel. The car behaved well during a recent test drive. In 2012, the owner observed that the gearbox slipped slightly as he drove home. The radiator water appears to contain oil, and the brakes should be inspected. All electrical functions, such as the sunroof, rear sunshade, seat, and windows, etc.

The interior is stylish and original, with only minor wear and tear. The most of the chafing is on the driver's seat backrest.

To be truly nice, it should be repainted. Front and rear bumpers will need to be replaced, but good original replacement wings and bumpers are included. There is a radiator ornament available and supplied. Alloy wheels are not original.

Mercedes-Benz W124 är en personbil, tillverkad av den tyska biltillverkaren Mercedes-Benz mellan 1984 och 1996.
124:an introducerades i december 1984. Bilen bröt helt med föregångaren W123 och tekniken byggde istället vidare på den mindre 190:n, men med större kaross och rymligare interiör. Från hösten 1985 kunde man beställa sin sexcylindriga W124:a med Mercedes fyrhjulsdrivningssystem 4MATIC i 1987.
Produktionen uppgick till 2 583 470 exemplar.
I maj 1987 introducerades coupé-versionen. Den byggdes i 141 498 exemplar.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
