Upon performing the startup service, the engine successfully ran; however, it does require a full engine overhaul. While there are minor surface rust spots scattered across the bodywork and a dent in the front wing, there are no major rust issues, and the underbody remains clean and solid without requiring any welding work. The interior and boot space are remarkably well-preserved and in original condition, retaining the same clocks and dials as the earlier 96 2-stroke engine models.
This car presents an excellent opportunity for restoration, with the primary focus on ensuring it becomes fully drivable, paving the way for its final inspection. While the exterior would benefit from a repaint, none of the bodywork issues will impede the inspection process.

The engine is successfully started and running, and the car rolls freely; however, it's currently not drivable and will need a comprehensive review and overhaul. Fortunately, new and high-quality used parts are readily available and reasonably priced. Additionally, the supportive Saab community on Facebook is always ready to lend a helping hand.

The interior of the car is best described as being in a great condition, with only minor signs of wear and absolutely no damage. It requires no work whatsoever, just a simple cleaning to bring out its full shine.

Zustand Exterieur
The car exhibits minor surface rust spots and a dent in the front wings, both repairable without welding or body replacement. The underbody is solid with no additional work needed, except for a welding repair on the right corner of the inner panel under the boot lid. The chrome work, wheels, and hubcaps are in good condition, and the tires, though older, remain functional.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
