Beschreibung

The car was registered in Sweden in June 1976. The first owner was a lady who acquired the Tahiti Blue car with Regal upholstery in February 1977. The second owner, from April 1995, was a relative. The car was originally rustproofed and has held up well. At some point during their ownership, the car was repainted in its original color. The mileage is just over 40 000 km. During an inspection in 1991, the odometer reading was under 20 000 km, and later inspection documents show that it has only covered just over 20 000 km since 1991, indicating that the odometer may not have rolled over. The current owner has owned the car since May 2007 and is the third owner. He has used it as an enthusiast's car, alternating with drives of a Lambretta. In November 2015, a thorough service and inspection were carried out. The headlight wipers are included, as well as a copy of the original purchase documents, instruction manuals, and various inspection reports. The car has recently passed inspection and is ready to drive.

Beurteilung Fahrzeugzustand

  • Zustand technisch:

    The car starts easily, and once it warms up, it runs flawlessly. During a test drive, one can certainly appreciate the delightful go-kart feeling. All functions work well, although there may be some slipping in the clutch. The undercarriage has not been inspected on a lift but appears to be in good condition, with no comments from the last inspection. The engine compartment is in decent condition but could be cleaned up.

  • Zustand Interieur:

    The interior is in its original condition. Instruments and panels are also in good condition, and everything appears to work as it should. The headliner is in excellent condition, as are the seats and rear seat. There have been seat covers in the past. The fabric mats are worn and discolored, but the sound insulation and sheet metal underneath are unusually well-preserved. The trunk is in decent condition, but the battery cover is worn. Otherwise, it is well-preserved, and the spare wheel is in good condition.

  • Zustand Exterieur:

    Repainted, a bit uncertain if it's the whole car or parts of it. The roof has some filler nodules. Otherwise, there are signs of wear and tear. Some bubbling at the bottom near the door/sill on the driver's side. There are damages at the rear on the same side on the sheet metal and bumper. The wheels have surface rust, tires are okay. Otherwise, the glass, chrome, and rubber are in good condition. The plastic chrome along the wheel arches and lower edges is weathered and yellowed.

  • Zustand gesamt:

    Here, you can drive as it is or customize to your liking. Regardless of what the next owner wants and does, you get an icon in a relatively untouched 70s costume. A delightful classic and a nice little car to enjoy.

Fakten zum Modell

The Mini - a motor historical icon. If you have even the slightest interest in motor history, you know that Alec Issigonis designed the model and that the concept of a transversely mounted front engine, front-wheel drive, and thus good interior space in a small car was and still is a successful recipe that holds true today.

The Mini saw the light of day in 1959 and was produced by BMC from 1959 to 1969, Leyland from 1969 to 1984, and then Rover Group until 2000. After that, the original model came to a halt. However, it lives on in a new form through BMW.

The Mini was loved then and is just as beloved now - it's simply immortal and as British as the Beatles, tweed, and lukewarm beer.

  • During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
  • Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
  • When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
  • If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
  • If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
  • Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
