Beschreibung

The first vintage of the Volvo PV was launched in 1944 and went on sale in 1947. Very well maintained and in fine original condition. The car has always rolled in southern Sweden. The last owner has had the car for eight years. The previous owner, who had the car from 1974 to 2012, worked as a mechanic at a Volvo workshop and it can be seen that he has looked after the car well and driven the car beautifully as no damage can be found. Pop out indicators (arrows) on the pillars of these early cars.

Beurteilung Fahrzeugzustand

  • Zustand technisch:

    The car has been started and driven about 10 km on the road after being parked since 1984. You can see on a sign that the B4B engine is a replacement engine. The car needs an overhaul of the master brake cylinder, as the pedal is hard, but the handbrake works flawlessly. The water pump leaked a little water during the test drive, it probably just needs to be lubricated.

  • Zustand Interieur:

    Nice well-kept original condition interior, complete rear seat in the original design.

  • Zustand Exterieur:

    Many of the coveted early special parts for these cars are in place. All original except that it was painted 20-30 years ago. There are small blisters under the paint.
    The rubber trim between the body and wings has cracked in some places. No visible rust anywhere and plenty of rust protection in the cavities and underneath.

  • Zustand gesamt:

    The car has only had 4 owners over the years and has survived well from damage and rust. Original replacement engine. Service or replace brake parts and the car will be fully usable again. The car is exempt from inspection. The odometer reading is 170,000 km and that may be true given the condition of the interior and other details.

  • At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time.   • During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!
  • Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
  • When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
  • If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
  • If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
  • Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
  • For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
