The present owner has had this Porsche 356 since 1974, and it has been in the same family since the late 1960s. It has been driven as a hobby car over the years. According to the owner, just minor welding has been done. It is in original condition, having been repainted in 1993 and maintained as needed.
It's difficult to come across 356s that are as well-preserved as this one. The majority are of low quality or have been heavily restored.

Because of a low charged 6-volt battery, the engine did not start. However, the vendor claims that it normally starts smoothly and goes well.

Good condition. The center of the driver's seat cushion has been reupholstered. There's also a suitcase full of extra fabric.

It's nice and straight in the bodywork. Blisters in numerous places on an older nice repainting from 1993. Exhaust that has discolored in the bumper has oxidized chrome on the door handles.

Fakten zum Modell
Den försiktiga produktionen av Porsche 356 kom igång redan 1948 i Gmünd i Österrrike. Tillverkningen flyttades dock snart till Tyskland och det var också där och då som den verkliga tillverkningen tog fart. Porsche 356A kom hösten 1955 och fanns med motorer på 1300 cc, 1500 cc och 1600 cc.
I slutet av 1959 lanserade Porsche B-modellen som jämfört med föregångaren hade stötfångare och strålkastarna högre placerade. Dessutom var det nu ventilationsrutor i dörrarna och stolarna satt monterade närmare golvet. Bland motorerna fanns en rad alternativ på mellan 60 och 140 hk att välja bland.
I juli 1963 kom den sista generationen Porsche 356. C-modellen. Bilen hade nu fått skivbromsar, bättre fjädring och vägegenskaper. Interiört var instrumentbrädan modernare och dörrarna hade nu armstöd.

Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
