This car was imported from the USA in the summer of 2005 by the current owner's family. Its early history from the years in the USA is not available. In summary, however, we can say that the car has been repainted during its lifetime and the interior has most likely been reupholstered or replaced. What has been done to the engine is unknown. 104 miles on the odometer is of course not equal to the truth. The car has now been sitting untouched for a period, as the man of the family passed away some time ago. A start-up service of the engine should be performed, as well as a going-through of the brake system. A nice soft top that is probably fairly new.
This car was last inspected in August 2006 and is registered for road use. From what we can see in our inspection, there is no major rust damage underneath the car. There are a few oil drips, but it is an English car after all.

Dry and clean in the engine bay. The engine starts easily and the gears engage as they should. A fully functioning overdrive. A recommissioning service should be carried out, as we have pointed out previously. The technical functions of the car work as they should, with the exception of the heater controls, which are stuck. Nice tires, though old.

Nice, probably reupholstered seating surfaces. Carpets are somewhat dirty and soiled, but should be fairly easy to clean. No significant damage to the carpets. The rubber seals at the doors are loose and need to be refitted (see pictures)

Repainted at some point during its lifetime, probably while still in the USA. Nice gloss, but there are minor bubbles, some dull areas, and a slight tendency to rust at the fender trim. Driver-quality condition on the chrome, glass, and light fixtures.

In nice usable condition and with a thorough service, a few hours with a polishing machine and a carpet cleaning would make this car really nice.

For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
