The current owner has driven approximately 100,000 km with the car. The meter has gone around the clock and now stands at 84,130 km. We know that the car has done 180,000 km, and maybe even 280,000 km. There are long distances in Norrland and the car is a good example of Volvo's fine quality. The spare wheel, jack and instruction books are included. The car is inspected and ready to drive.

Zustand technisch
The car starts easily and runs fine. In 2013, the engine was rebuilt, the block was drilled 0.30 and the top was fixed. In 2018, the brakes were renovated. The car has a normally functioning technical standard.

Zustand Interieur
Original interior in red fabric and artificial leather which is in unusually fine condition. There is some wear with some minor holes on the driver's seat. See pictures. Nice original rubber mats. Complete and nice headliner. New front three-point seat belts. The latch that holds the boot in the open position needs an review.

Zustand Exterieur
The car's paintwork is the original which is worn and touched up. The repairs carried out by the first owner after small incidents can be characterized as user-friendly. There are scratch marks, some surface rust and a few dents. The car still feels very solid and has never been taken apart. On two of the wings, there is a small hole at the bottom, according to pictures.
The beam under the floor on the right side must be replaced. See pictures from the underside of the car. The owner was kind enough to lift out the car's seats to show the condition of the floor from the inside as well. A procedure that is quickly done on Volvo PV. The car is also equipped with a tow-bar. At the rear tow-bar attachment, a small sheet metal repair is needed. See picture. -
Zustand gesamt
A well-functioning vintage car that is completely ready to drive. The mechanical part has been prioritized for operational reliability. The interior is in better condition than normal given its age and use. The exterior has more wear, but can be said to be in line with the car's history and use.

Fakten zum Modell
Volvo PV 444 började tillverkas 1947 och den sista PV 544:an lämnade bandet 1965 efter sammanlagt 440 000 exemplar. Volvo PV 444 och dess efterföljare 544 var under flera decennier Volvos storsäljare. Volvo PV i olika utföranden användes både som bruksbilar, nyttofordon och som rallybilar. Många nybakade bilförare gjorde sina första stapplande rattsvängningar och draglägesförsök i just en PV. Produktionen av modellen upphörde för att ge plats för Volvo 144, som premiärvisats hösten 1965.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
