Zustand technisch
Completely renovated B18 sports engine, drilled 0.30, ground crank and a new camshaft. Cylinder head converted for unleaded fuel. Refurbished gearbox. Newly refurbished carburettors. New fuel tank. New two-inch sports exhaust system. New brakes.

Zustand Interieur
Brand new interior in the original design. Seats reupholstered, new door cards and new headliner. New rubber mats. The headliner could be stretched a little more, but that is mostly an observation. See pictures. New three-point belts. Nice boot with new textile carpet and side upholstery.

Zustand Exterieur
The body has been completely renovated by a professional. Four new wings have also been installed. What the owner did not like has been replaced. The painting was carried out in 2020 when the car was painted in parts and then reassembled. The paintwork is a mirror gloss. The car has new bumpers with American bumpers. Straight and nice body with good shut lines. The right door would need a little adjustment. All rubber seals have been replaced. New decorative strips around the windshield and rear window. The side trim is in good used condition. There are some small dents in the chrome on the trim that’s on the front edge of the bonnet. See pictures. New tyres on newly manufactured 5.5-inch wheels.

Fakten zum Modell
Den första Sporten kom 1958, strax efter introduktionen av PV 544. Den starkare motorn med bland annat dubbla förgasare var från början vikt enbart för USA-marknaden men i slutet av 1958 stod det klart att den gick att sälja även på hemmamarknaden, utan att att importavgifterna i USA skulle höjas.
De första som såldes hade B16B-motor på 85 hk men i augusti 1961 ersattes den av den nya femlagrade B18-motorn. PV 544 Sport fick B18D-motorn på 90 hk. I augusti 1965 fick Sporten effekten höjd till 95 hk men bara någon månad senare meddelade Volvo att modellen skulle läggas ner i slutet av oktober 1965.
Sista tillverkade PV:n blev en svart 544 Sport.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
