General Motors' tough sports coupe was only built over a three-year period. They paired the compact sports coupe from Holden with a sports chassis and the Corvette's new LS2 engine that came in 2005. The result was a performance car with over 400 HP and unbeatable torque. The model came to be known in the US as a Corvette with four seats. It quickly became popular in street racing (and on the drag strip in a tuned version) as it was more affordable than a Corvette and also lighter and had better road characteristics.
In Sweden, there are 60 cars according to the car register, this car came in from California in 2014, but it took until this year before it was registered. The car has never been crashed or repainted and is not race driven. It has a 6-speed manual gearbox (same as the Corvette), which was optional, (the standard was a 4-speed automatic). It has a sports exhaust system, sports seats, stereo with sound system and black leather upholstery. The car has travelled 62,000 km, Between 2014 and 2022, it has been stored off the road.

Zustand technisch
Starts easily and runs very well. Fast engine and precise gear positions. The tyres have 50% tread left. Great brakes. Newly inspected and approved at the car test in August without comment. Serviced in 2014, before being stored. Only started and warmed up at regular intervals between 2014-2022. The AC not cold.

Nice and well-maintained interior, where it can be seen that the car has not travelled more than 62,000 km, Some very small wear on the driver's seat. Various amplifiers and sound equipment from Alpine are mounted in the boot.

The body and paintwork are in good condition. Only a few small scratches, carwash scratches and stone chips can be seen. A little paint wear on the door handle, as well as some clear coat wear on the fuel cap.

A rare car in Sweden that has much more performance than you need. Nice example in the anniversary colour and with an attractive manual gearbox, which makes the car an attractive collector's car while providing maximum driving pleasure.

Pontiac GTO var på sextiotalet den första riktiga muskelbilen när General Motors valde att i lilla Pontiac Tempest sätta in GM:s största motor från Bonnevillen. Sedan blev muskelbil ett begrepp och bilar som Plymouth Roadrunner, Dodge Charger, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang och Pontiac Firebird blev oerhört populära under kommande år. Dessa var både vassa och samtidigt enkelt byggda och därför prisvärda så även unga bilköpare kunde köpa dem. 1966 Blev Pontiac GTO en egen bilmodell som sedan byggdes i olika utförande som prestandabil fram till 1974.
Åren 2004 till 2006 återkom det legendariska modellnamnet när GM tog sin nyutvecklade LS2-Corvettemotor och satte i deras sportkupé som såldes i Australien under namnet Holden. - During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
