The car comes from the Sandahl collections, which Bilweb Auctions AB will sell in early spring over four different themes; starting with some of the family's popular workhorses, primarily Mercedes, Volkswagen, and a wildcard, then half a dozen exclusive fine Rolls-Royces and Jaguars, followed by a selection of early Ford cars and a Chevrolet from the infancy and youth of motoring. The last will be nine different prize-winning and representative full-size USA cars from 1959, the year when the fins were at their largest.
Today, Sandahls is one of Sweden's largest family-owned transport conglomerates. The company was founded in Värnamo in 1949. Older generations have in their private museum collected about 40 cars under various themes for many years. Bilweb Auctions AB has now been tasked with selling these in four rounds in February and March this year.

Zustand technisch
The engine has now been started using an external petrol source. It needs to be serviced and inspected thoroughly. Many newer parts have been replaced in the engine, and the engine bay needs cleaning (see photos). It features lovely wire wheels in great shape and older yet durable tires. Upgraded hydraulic brake systems fitted.

Zustand Interieur
The interior appears renovated, maintaining its completeness and appeal. It boasts attractive fabric seats, matching door cards, and a clean headliner. The dashboard, instruments, steering, and flooring are all clean and tidy. The fold-out rear rumble seat is in good condition and fully intact.

Zustand Exterieur
The car has undergone an older renovation and repaint, and still today its presentable. The bodywork is straight and solid, with a small dent on the rear wheel arch and rust blisters around the roof rails and the front metal roof sun visor (refer to pictures). The paintwork is clean and tidy, albeit with a few paint chips, marks, and a small rubbing scratch on the rumble seat lid. The underbody is clean and well-maintained, with slight surface rust on the running boards. The chrome work around the car is bright and tidy. Update front wings are fiberglass not metal.

Zustand gesamt
Now that the car is running, it only requires service maintenance and a review of the fuel system. Cosmetic concerns can be gradually resolved over time.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
