It was delivered new to the current owner in February 2008, he saw the scooter at the motorcycle exhibition in Gothenburg and decided then and there. Icon status, design, and subculture determined the purchase. The scooter has been sparingly used in and around Gothenburg during the summer months and mostly for meet-ups and similar social rides. Now the owner is going to stop riding two-wheelers and devote himself to his four-wheeled enthusiast cars instead.

Starts easily with both electric start and kick start, the scooter recently got a new battery. Good tires, Michelin S83. The 125cc engine had a type of catalytic exhaust treatment on the last model years and markets to meet emissions requirements even with an older engine design. An efficient and good disc brake became standard in 1998, was a big improvement and is coveted today.

Beautiful original saddle in light brown vinyl. Two stylish helmets that match the saddle and a custom-fit cover are included as well.

Black original paint in excellent condition, equipped with front and rear luggage racks, chrome side bars around the hoods and a small windshield. An original rubber mat with fresh bounce is also placed on the footboard floor.

Fakten zum Modell
Piaggio's Vespa PX had a long production cycle between 1979 and 2007 with engine sizes of 125, 150 and 200 cc. It was the last of the so-called "metal scooters" from the brand with the classic shape and the equally classic two-stroke engine with direct drive without chain or cardan. That engine fits in all Vespa scooters of the model internally and among enthusiasts called "largeframe" from 1959 to 2007. An older scooter from, for example, the early sixties can thus have a newly built PX engine from the 2000s without it being noticeably visible, although a trained eye can of course determine the difference directly.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
