SVT Cobra was a high-performance version of the Ford Mustang and was considered the top-of-the-line model, placed above both the Mustang GT and Mach 1 models. Ford manufactured the SVT from 1993 to 2004, in almost 80,000 units. Ford stated that the 2001 Cobra could achieve 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and the quarter mile (402m) in 13.8 seconds with a final speed of just over 160 km/h. Ford also stated that the Cobra was electronically limited to a top speed of 240 km/h. Therefore, the car invites a somewhat aggressive driving style.
The car in question is a 2001 model year. That year, 3,384 units of the Cobra convertible were manufactured. In the color Zinc Yellow, however, only 316 were made!
This yellow Mustang Cobra was imported to our neighboring country, Norway, in 2006. The importer was Varebilsenteret Økern AS, Oslo.
The car was never registered in the Norwegian car registry but was sold directly to a buyer in Sweden. He kept the car until 2013, when a woman in Östergötland took over the car. In 2020, she sold the Cobra to the current owner. Thus, there have been 3 users since the car came to Sweden. During the import and the vehicle inspection, the speedometer dial was replaced with one showing speed in km/h. The original white speedometer dial is included (see picture). Consequently, the odometer is in miles and shows 22,432 miles, equivalent to 3,610 Swedish miles. Instruction manual, service book, and inspection papers are included. The mileage in Sweden can therefore be considered verified. It is difficult to comment on the period before that. The excellent condition suggests it could be accurate, but we do not know.
Documentation from the import between Norway and Sweden is also included. See a selection of documents in the pictures. The car will be delivered inspected by the vehicle inspection authorities and ready to drive.

Zustand Interieur
Stylish and well-maintained interior. Apart from minor wear on the edge of the driver's seat backrest, the classic kind that occurs when entering the car, there is nothing to note.

Straight body without damage. There are a few small marks from door dings on the left door, barely visible. The convertible top is in good condition, operates smoothly and without any issues. New tires and wheels were purchased in 2023. The original wheels are included.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. - During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
