The car had been previously renovated with new wings and sill in the mid-1980s and repainted. However, after rebuilding the engine and renovating the gearbox, as well as fully rebuilding the suspension, the decision was made to completely strip the paint back to bare metal and repaint the car, except for the engine bay. The interior was also entirely reupholstered in leather by an ex-Volvo employee who had access to the original seat templates. The gauges were tested and repaired, and the only non-functional part is the clock. The car was additionally treated with proper body underseal, which has preserved it well, but it has never been driven in the winter.
As of its completion in 2020, the car had a mileage of 149,400 kilometers. And today the mileage is only 154,335 kilometers 23 years later. The owner remarks that they have driven their lawnmower for a longer distance. Thus, the only reason for selling the car is due to its infrequent use.
Included in the folder are a plethora of old receipts, providing a comprehensive record of past repairs and maintenance. The folder also contains the car's owner history, photographs, inspection reports, and the original handbook, among other valuable documents. Please refer to the pictures for further details.

Zustand technisch
The car has been meticulously maintained and all components are in good working order after the renovation, with worn parts having been replaced and serviced. While there is a need for steering alignment adjustment on full lock, this does not pose any issues while driving, and there is no evidence of tire wear. The new owner can simply hop in and enjoy the driving experience without any worries.

Zustand Interieur
The interior of the car remains in remarkable condition, with no notable issues. The carpets, seats, headliner, dashboard, and instrumentation are all in excellent shape. The car also comes equipped with a fully working Blaupunkt radio and electric aerial, with the only repair needed being the clock.

Zustand Exterieur
The car's bodywork is in excellent condition, with no visible rust and straight lines. As previously mentioned, the wings and sill were replaced in the 1980s and the car was fully repainted in the late 1990s. The underbody is exceptionally clean, although there are indications of an older floor repair. The chrome work is all shiny and well-maintained, and a new grill has been fitted while the old one is included.
The paintwork is impressive, looking clean and smooth overall, with only a few minor issues. There are three small damages - a 7cm scratch/paint touch-up on the left rear wing, a small 3cm dent on the top of the left front wing that can be easily repaired, and a 30cm long scratch on the right rear wing, as can be seen in the pictures. Nevertheless, these issues are easily fixed and do not detract from the car's overall appearance. -

This car is a true driver's delight, boasting a remarkable history and having been owned for an extended period of time. Undoubtedly, it will bring immense joy to the new owner for many years to come.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
