This car was purchased new by the current owner in April 1965. The car has been used extensively, and the odometer has rolled over three times, meaning it has traveled approximately 350,000 kilometers. The body was fully restored and repainted in 2010. During this restoration, the valves were ground, and the channels cleaned. A durable engine that runs quietly and smoothly. The most recent inspection was done in 2017. The owner has cared for the car lovingly, and in recent years it has been driven very little. It has been continuously maintained with oil changes and other service measures. Zustand technisch
The engine, gearbox, and brakes work very well. The only thing that didn’t function during our inspection was the temperature gauge. Older tires from 2010 with good tread depth. During the restoration, the underside of the car was ground clean and treated against rust. Two keys for the ignition lock, plus separate keys for the doors, trunk, and fuel cap.

Zustand Interieur
Nice upholstery, although there are some dirt stains in places. There is an approximately three-centimeter-long tear in the seam of the driver’s seat, which should be easy to fix. The original floor mat is in poorer condition (see pictures). Original insert mats are included. Original Opel blankets come with the car. Nice door panels and headliner.

Zustand Exterieur
Externally, the car is in good condition. The paintwork has held up well since 2010 and has a nice gloss. The bumpers, trim, and glass show normal wear for everyday use. The body is straight and nice, as far as we can see.

A lovely overall impression of this charming little car. The cheerful spirit of the sixties shines through in every detail, and the car is a lot of fun to drive, albeit somewhat basic.

Bilen har ägts av oss sedan vi köpte den ny av AB Carman i Lindesberg i april 1965 för cirka 9 500 kronor. Bilen tog oss upp till Vindeln i närheten av Umeå där vi arbetade under tiden 1965-1969. Under denna tid föddes våra två barn på BB i Umeå och dit tog oss Kadetten de sex milen i ilfart och sedan hjärtans glada åter.
Många turer har det blivit mellan Vindeln och Örebro 75 mil enkel resa samt till stugan i Tärnaby 90 mil samt ett antal semesterresor i Sverige, Norge och Danmark. På semesterresor med kofferten full av barnvagnar, picnic-väskor, spritkök, mat mm. På taket under sommaren tält, tältsängar och fällstolar samt på vintern skidställ med skidor av olika slag. Våra barn har också övningskört i samma bil innan de själva fick sina körkort.
Bilen har rullat 31.000 mil innan den till slut ställdes undan i några år pga rostskador ”Lättrostad kvartskilo Gevalia”. Efter dessa år togs den ut från ladu-förvaringen och med hjälp av Åke Johansson lagades rosten och renoverades den och lackades om i originalkulören. Framskärmar och golv i främre delen har bytts. Efter hjälp av Kalles Bilsadelmakeri har också klädseln snyggats till och efter det besiktning för MHRF-försäkring.
Idag tas bilen ut i fintväder och luftas under sommartiden vid de olika arrangemang som anordnas av NFH. Korvrally, Motorhistoriska dagen, Sannahedsdagen, Nora-rally m.m. tillhör finåkningen.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
