Renovated by an Opel fan over 30 years ago. A solid and classic 60s, with the engine at the front, drive at the rear and a nice design with a little extra zip that the L versions from Opel offered, in the form of lavish interior, extra shiny and in this case also in a sleek Coupé model. This model came with a sharper 1900 engine with "two-stage carburetor". Meter reading 32190 km, probably been round the clock, just over 130,000 km driven.

The engine spins nicely, responds well, newly renovated original Solex carburetor. Steering, brakes and road holding provide a calm and nice ride. New battery and rear brake cylinders. Nice and dry underneath.

Very nice interior with stylish stitching in front and back seats. Carpets,fabric and rubber in good condition, as well as the headliner. Time-typical Blaupunkt car radio.

Paintwork is in great condition, but if you're picky, there are minor cosmetic flaws that occurred while spraying 30 years ago. Glass in fine shape, as well as in the engine and baggage compartment.

Opel Rekord var deras storsäljare under åren 1953-1977. i skarven 50/60 tal blev det rappa, nästan årliga, uppdateringar av modellen och till 1963 kom så version Rekord A med en ny kaross inspirerad av GMs amerikanska modellutbud, fast i en mer kompakt version. Modet för tiden var linjalraka linjer.
Till modell året 1966 presenterades den nya Rekordmodellen B, som bara fanns ett år och var en brygga mellan den raka strama designen och den som kom i och med modell Rekord C 1967, där den sk "coke bottle desigen" med lite mjuka linjer över framför allt bakvagnen tog över. Tillbaka till 1966. Fronten blev modifierad med rektangulära strålkastare, och akterparti med dubbla runda baklysen. Spårvidden ökades, laminerad vindruta samt tvåkretsbromssystem förbättrade säkerheten. Det blev femlagrad vevaxel och kamaxel i topplocket, för bättre och tystare motorprestanda. I Sverige var den nya 1900 motorn vanlig och den gav pigga 90 hkr. Trots att modellen bara var ettårig och en brygga, sålde den hyggligt.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
