This Ford was bought in 1956 by the current owner's father. They took the train from Vittsjö to Stockholm to pick up the car that was shining in the showrook. The trip went well and the current owner remembers at the time he was 15 years old he also remembers that his father wanted a Crown Victoria but that it was considered too flashy, as he had assignments in church in the municipality.
The car was used for several years, but his wife thought it was heavy and difficult to drive, a VW was bought for her which was used by the whole family and the Ford was driven sparingly.
It has always been garaged on the same farm as it is today since 1956 and at the death of the father, the son (current owner) inherited it and he lives next door so it was allowed to remain in the garage.
For a period over, it fell out of the register and had to be newly registered in 1994 with the current number.
Knowledgeable people in the family have helped to take care of it and maintain its patinated condition.

The car runs very well and has recently been serviced with new oil, spark plugs and points and the carburettor has been serviced and various filters replaced.

Complete and fine original upholstery that has held up well, however, the original carpets have given up and need to be replaced.

Original paint that has been improved in several places, rust is visible. The chrome looks good and has only a few dots in places. Wheels and tires in good condition but unfortunately a hub cap is missing.

A unique opportunity and get a 50-classic with a nice patina that has not been miss-used but is in original condition. Will draw attention at summer meetings.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
