Overall, the car is in very presentable condition, featuring an eye-catching Maya Yellow color. There are no standout rust issues, but there are some small paint defects on the bonnets and around the driver door, likely due to an older repaint from the 1990s (see pictures). Older documentation includes many inspection reports, the handbook, and some receipts. However, older owner history isn't available.
Note! This car cannot be sold for export. During the renovation, the chassis was replaced with a newer one from a VW 1303. Therefore, the chassis number does not match the body type plate. The body is a 1302, while the chassis, gearbox, and engine come from a 1303. On the repainted type plate (see picture), the original chassis number that this body was linked to is visible. It starts with 152, indicating that the car is a 1302 convertible from the 1972 model year. It also states Type 15 on the plate, which is an original convertible. The car is sold as is, in its current condition, with these conditions. For this reason, the car is not suitable for export, as this may cause issues with registration in another country.

Zustand technisch
The car is easy to start, and the engine runs smoothly. The clutch and gearbox feel reliable, as do the suspension and brakes. It is fitted with an extra digital voltmeter, a newer radio plus extra speakers, and comes with 2 keys. It also has nice wheels with good tires.

Zustand Interieur
Interior is very well kept, featuring nice, undamaged front and rear seats, a clean dashboard, and functioning gauges. The door cards and carpets are in good condition, making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy while driving.

The car is very attractive and stands out, with no serious rust damage—just some small blisters around the front headlights (see pictures). The body panels are straight, and the underbody is clean with no rust on the floors. The paint looks good and would look great with a polish, though it has a few touch-ups and stone chips highlighted in the pictures. The chrome work all around is bright and clean. There is a small crack in the rubber on the rear bumper corner. The roof is virtually new and looks great.

Zustand gesamt
Cool looking VW Cabriolet is the perfect car to enjoy this summer. The small cosmetic issues can be fixed over time and nothing requires urgent work. With a nice polish, it will look even better.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
