Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 6.8 l V8 — 1973

• Zustand technisch

  The car runs very well and functions properly, however, there are some deficiencies that the current owner has listed:
  
  The air conditioning doesn't work. It can be fixed, but it's not worth it as the car isn't driven much.
  Windshield washer - the signal does not reach from the switch.
  The clock lags behind when the engine is turned off.
  The interval wiper (mechanical bimetal) does not work, it only makes noise.
  The central locking is faulty, disconnected on the left rear door.
  The front left window is closed. The motor has been removed. It got stuck in the down position, likely due to a bad ground.
  The radio and cassette player are not working. Probably not connected correctly. The radio is not compatible with today's radio broadcasts.
  Engine compartment lighting does not work. Probably the lamp.
  The auxiliary lights are not connected.
  Warning sounds connected to the Spirit of Ecstasy are not in use.
  The rear window defroster does not work.
  Occasionally, water has appeared under the front mats when stationary in the rain.

• Zustand Interieur

  Complete and nice original interior with new mats, the back seat is intact but needs refreshing.

• Zustand Exterieur

  An older repaint has held up well, though there are a few minor defects. The rear edge of the right rear fender and the bumper have a parking damage that has been partially corrected. Small rust blisters are present at the top of the front doors. The vinyl roof is partially faded and has small damages. Otherwise, the car has nice chrome, fine wheels, and good tires.

  A delightful Silver Shadow that is ready to drive and offers its future owner many comfortable and pleasant journeys.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
