A Mercedes cabriolet with the beautiful A124 body is a car that has become increasingly sought after in recent years. Four people can travel comfortably with the convertible top down, the engine is lively and the whole car exudes high quality. The model was only built in this version from 1995 to 1997.
This model came to Sweden from Germany in 2001, when it was five years old and had travelled about 120,000 km. It was sold new at Mercedes in Kiel, North Germany, and has had 2 owners in Germany. In Sweden, it ran during the summer months in the area between Sundsvall and Härnösand until 2015, when it was sold to an owner in Karlstad who had it until 2022. The car is now being sold by a car collector in Åmål.
The car is complete and fine in the paint and bodywork and works flawlessly. It is equipped with black leather upholstery, automatic transmission and an important safety detail, namely a roll bar in the form of a rear headrest that pop up in 0.3 seconds if the car were to overturn.

The car starts easily and runs well. Only driven 6000 km in the last 10 years, so a service is needed before the summer season. Last serviced at 159,000 km according to the service book. The tyres have 60% tread left, on the flawless original wheels. Tyre size 215/55 R16.

Complete and nice interior. Beautiful leather upholstery with a few small scratches that can be repaired. Original steering wheel with wooden trim where there are some cracks in the varnish.

Straight and nice in the body. All door and hood shut lines match well. mostly original paint (hood possibly repainted, but hard to tell). The car has never been in an accident or rusted. Also whole and clean underneath. Only a little rubbing on two corners of the bumper, see pictures and a little on the step on the threshold. Complete and nice original roof.

Good collector condition. Very nice model. Hard to find in such nice condition. Extensive documentation comes with the car, see pictures.

W124 kallas denna karossmodell från Mercedes, som byggdes mellan 1985 till 1996, i en rad olika utföranden som 4d. sedan, kombi, 2d. coupé och så småningom även som cabriolet, (1991 till 1995), i bara drygt 30.000 exemplar, både med 4 cyl. och 6 cyl. motorer. Detta utförande med 300-24 v motorn var toppmodellen. Modellen fick många designpriser för sina fina former och linjer och särskilt coupé och cab-modllerna som trots sin storlek ser smäckra och eleganta ut.
W124 betraktas av många som den sista Mercedesmodellen av högsta kvalitét, vilket syns i alla detaljer, även när bilen är 30 år gammal.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
