This car started as an exhibition car at the Volvo dealer in Mölndal and was then sold to a private person in Närke, who owned car for 23 years, (up until2012). Hereafter it is owned by a car collector/Volvo enthusiast in Sörmland, until autumn 2018. Now it is being sold for the current owner's estate, which was also large car collector and drove the car recently this summer.
The car is in exceptionally well groomed and fresh car that always been the garaged, nice body without rust, and original paint. Interior that looks like new, as well as in engine bay and boot. The car has guaranteed only 7000 km, (but the condition looks like Max 30000 km). The year model is 1988, which is a good 240 year, because then Volvo started galvanizing the lower body and floor and improved comfort, with new double rubber seal, better insulation and new upholstery and more. 240 is today a popular collector car because it’s comfortable to drive, bullet proof engine and real classic daily driver.

Volvo 240-modellen introducerades 1975 och utvecklades och förfinades under åren, fram till 1993 då produktionen upphörde. Stora förändringar kom 1981, 1986 och 1988, sedan behöll de form och detaljer till 1993. Även i England, Norge, och Italien var bilen en storsäljare. 240 fick en sportig image, tack vare turbomodellen som såldes 1980 till 1985 och blev framgångsrik tävlingsbil som vann standardvagnsserien under åren 1984 och 1985. Idag betraktas 240 som en kultbil, och är en otroligt populär hobbybil som renoveras och sköts av alla åldersgrupper. Att hitta en lågmilare som denna är en trevlig investering, som är kul att använda och som stiger i värde lite varje år.
