Say what you like about Gas Monkey Garage and Richard Rawlings, but they've become REALLY big, all over the world! The program is translated in a variety of languages, and is dubbed German and Spanish, among other things! Fans range from car nerds to older ladies and young children. The show goes home in most camps! So we can promise that this Custom build will be recognized, wherever you take it!
This Mark III was built by the team in the first season, by Aaron Kaufman and the gang. At the time, they probably had no idea how big they would be. They were in a small and worn workshop, and Richard's office consisted of a redesigned worker's barracks!
The starting object was a nice low-mileage, untouched Continental that they found at a local car dealership! Air suspension was mounted. Large 22" spoke rims were acquired which required widened wheel housings. Disc brakes were mounted all around and the brake line were replaced in connection with it!
The car was registered for an auction and it ended up with a local enthusiast who bought it for his son. All this is nice to see in the episode that was dubbed "Low Riding Lincoln" and is today TV history!
During a US trip in December 2018, the current owner accidentally ended up at gas monkey garage in Dallas! There was the black Lincoln stood a little forgotten in a corner! It showed you that Richard had bought the car back a few months earlier. He asked if it was for sale and it was!
Today the car is in a really good condition! It has good sheet metalwork and the car is better now than when GMG sold it new. The car is inspected and ready to drive, and runs absolutely great!

Zustand technisch
Untouched mechanically. The original 460 V8 has a silky smooth ride. The C6 transmission shifts smoothly and elegantly. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it drove on the first test drive; it's quiet and comfortable inside. Despite the large rims and tires, it feels right! It's also unique to ride on air suspension, as you float down the highway.

Zustand Interieur
The interior design is stunning. A black leather interior has a unique feel to it. You sit like a king in the seats, as if you were in a TV chair! Instrumentation is new, and the fine glasses are clear. Without any cracks, the dashboard is straight and fine. Sun protection and with a nail-straight vinyl roof. In "mint" condition, the original steering wheel. Fantastic door cards! The original lustre can be seen throughout the interior. It's easy to see why they didn't do anything to the interior; it's already perfect!
It's nice and dry and the air bag compressors is neatly mounted. -

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
