Beschreibung
The car was then sold to a man in Stockholm who planned to renovate it. The car remained unused while waiting for renovation, and due to other circumstances, the family had to sell many of the man’s cars, including this PV. The next owner was a car body repairer living in Möklinta. He purchased the car in August 2007 and began its restoration, which was completed in June 2009. A binder with pictures from the restoration is included with the car.
The current owner bought the car on March 29, 2023, and has enjoyed it for two summers. The odometer now reads 584 kilometers. However, the odometer rolls over at 10,000 kilometers, and it is reported that it has rolled over once, so the total mileage is estimated to be 106,000 kilometers.

Zustand technisch
The Volvo has its original engine, which the car was sold with. The engine was overhauled 15 years ago and received new main bearings, connecting rod bearings, and piston rings. The cylinder head was also refurbished but was not converted for unleaded fuel. The carburetors are adjusted and renovated.
A K-camshaft has been installed for smoother operation, and the engine runs smoothly and evenly. It has recently been serviced with new oil and filter. At the same time, the drivetrain was thoroughly checked. The rear axle, front axle, and front and rear control arms were powder-coated. New brakes, including new hoses, brake lines, wheel and master cylinders, and new brake pads, along with new shock absorbers and much more, have been installed.
The PV comes with 5 original 5.5” KPZ wheels, 4 of which are newly sandblasted and powder-coated, with new wheel bolts and center caps. The car has recently been greased. The tires are older but have good tread depth. -
Zustand Interieur
The interior and headlining are original and are in very good and undamaged condition. The rubber floor mats were replaced 15 years ago during the renovation. The dashboard and door panels are also in very good condition. As you can see in the photos, the bodywork is not painted in the engine bay and inside the cabin, in order to maintain some of the original patina.

Zustand Exterieur
Extensive bodywork has been carried out on the Volvo. This is documented in the renovation binder that comes with the car. Some pages from this can be seen among the pictures. The paintwork is professionally done, but the underlying work has not received the same level of care, although it is still entirely acceptable. Period-correct Marchal auxiliary lights and the original steering wheel are included. All rubber seals were replaced during the renovation. The car has been recently polished, and the chrome is in good condition.
