A very well-restored Porsche 356B, equipped with sunroof. Current owner bought the car in 2008 with the hopes for a simple renovation. But the 356 that had sitting in barn since 1975 turned out to be in poorer condition than expected, resulting in a large amount bodywork replacement welding.
All work has been professionally done; his applies to the paint in the original color Slate Gray and the new red leather interior.
Great care has also been added to the 60 horsepower 1600 engine upgraded to 1720 cc with new larger pistons and cylinders. Otherwise, it is carefully renovated with, among other things, upgraded camshaft, new bearings, and polished crankshaft, refurbished tops and balanced flywheel.
This Porsche 356 still has the original engine and box - and is now restored to the same fine condition as when it was taken in Malmö on February 17, 1961.

"Totalrenoverad. Den har färgkombinationer m.m. och ser ut exakt som den gjorde när den lämnade fabriken 1961 (slate grey med röd skinninredning). Alla luckor, dörrar, motor m.m. är de ursprungliga, rätt nr på allt.. Motorn har får en uppdatering under renoveringen, nu med nya kolvar o cylindrar (s.k. big bore) = 1720 cc och lite vassare kamaxel (den som sitter i 75 hk motorn) vilket beräknas ge ca 90 hk. Går som en dröm!"
Fakten zum Modell
The careful production of the Porsche 356 started already in 1948. However, the production was soon moved to Germany, and it was also from time to time that real production accelerated. The Porsche 356A came in the fall of 1955 and was equipped with 1300cc, 1500cc and 1600cc engines.
