Allis-Chalmers small tractor in good and complete condition. Repainted many years ago and runs well. This has a 14 hp petrol/Kerosene engine and was sold new via Svenska Traktor AB in Stockholm.

The 1930 century was a transformative time for the smaller farms – when the tractor would replace the horse. Allis-Chalmers contribution became popular Model B – a great success with a total of 127 000 tractors sold from 1937 and 20 years ahead.
A large part of the success came with the versatile design with small turning and adjustable gauge to work in row cultivation. B had a cylinder engine of either 14 or 16 hp, coupled to a treväxlad box. In recent years models, hydraulic lifts and lamps were added as well.
Allis-Chalmers B sold well in the home country USA but also in Europe – and especially in the UK. After a few years, Allis-Chalmers merged with a number of other American manufacturers to start an assembly plant in the country. Production started 1947 – at the same time, Allis-Chalmers B was available with a diesel engine from British Perkins.
