This premium Cadillac Brougham is number 63 of 400 built in 1957. In the late 1970s, a man in Illinois purchased it. The car arrived in Sweden in 1997 and has been utilised there since. The current owner bought the Cadillac in 2015 and has only driven it a few times since then.
The car has been upgraded from air suspension to coil springs. Even some model-specific equipment remains, such as three shot glasses (should be six), a paper napkin holder, and a mirror in the glove compartment. The electrically powered tailgate is functional. It opens and closes correctly and is controlled by buttons located in the glove compartment. The front seat is likewise powered by electricity and includes a memory function. The engine and transmission of the car function properly. The exterior is in good shape, however the interior is slightly worn (see photographs). The brushed stainless steel roof on this particular model set it apart. Celebrities and movie stars were frequent owners of these cars. The AC pump is installed but turned off. It includes a new exhaust system as well as other spare parts. Receipts and other forms of documentation are provided.

Zustand technisch
Instead of air suspension, coil springs were installed. It works nicely in the engine and driveline. The tailgate closes and opens perfectly. The new exhaust system is supplied in parts, as seen in the picture. Other parts, such as brake shoes, are also included (see photographs).

The interior is in slightly worn condition, with dry cracks in the leather and seams (see images). The glove compartment has three shot glasses, a mirror, and a paper napkin holder.

Fakten zum Modell
Cadillac återkom på marknaden för ultralyxbilar för första gången sedan slutet av V-16-eran med sin fantastiska Eldorado Brougham av 1957 års modell. Denna begränsade upplaga av en komplex, dyr, b-stolpslös, fyradörrars hardtop var produktionsversionen av 1955 års showbil. Den var även Cadillacs svar på Fords Continental Mark II. Standardutrustningen bestod bland annat av luftfjädring, ett tak av borstat rostfritt stål, kromade stötfångare av aluminium och framsäte (soffa) med minnesfunktion.
Bilen var utrustad med en 325 hästarsversion av Cadillacs 365 kubiktums V8-motor.
Hjulbasen var 126 tum och Brougham byggdes på en chassiram av X-typ som alla andra Cadillacs från 1957. Priset var högt för denna bil som 1957 kostade svindlande 13 074 dollar i USA.
En ny Rolls Royce kostade vid samma tidpunkt cirka 9 000 dollar.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
