In 2022, extensive mechanical work was carried out at a cost of approximately SEK 26,000. This included, among other things, replacement of the turbocharger with installation kit, water pump, starter motor, engine oil and filter, spark plugs, timing chain kit, coolant and power steering fluid, as well as refurbishment of the A/C system.
Externally, the car has also undergone professionally executed rust repairs to the rear dog-leg areas, followed by partial repainting with very good results. In addition, the front and rear bumpers have been attended to, giving the car a fresh and well-maintained overall appearance while retaining its characteristic Saab identity.
The interior presents very well, with nicely preserved leather seats. This is a well-equipped example featuring electrically adjustable and ventilated seats, electric mirrors and windows, as well as radio/navigation. A particularly rare and interesting original feature is the leather-trimmed interior grab handles, a detail seldom seen on these cars.
The equipment functions well and, particularly noteworthy for a 9-5 of this age, the displays have no missing pixels.
The car also comes with its original 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with winter tyres.
The luggage compartment also contains a selection of useful and sought-after Saab spare parts, including a fuel pump, additional leather upholstery for a seat, and various other parts – see photos.

Zustand technisch
The car starts directly with a smooth and stable idle. On the road, it feels tight and responsive with good handling, a smooth-shifting automatic gearbox and solid brakes, while delivering strong turbo boost under harder acceleration. It sits on a nice set of original alloy wheels with good tyres, The car sits on an attractive set of original 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with good tyres. Newly serviced and inspected until 2027-03-31, the car is ready to be driven and enjoyed straight away.

Zustand Interieur
Interior is finished in black leather with contrasting grey and black trim. The leather seats are in excellent condition throughout with no notable damage, likewise the door cards, panels, carpets and headliner. Updated chrome interior door handles add a nice finishing touch. The dashboard, gauges and instrumentation all function correctly with no pixelation. Electric seats, windows and mirrors all work, along with the radio and navigation system.

Zustand Exterieur
A great-looking car with straight bodywork, good panel gaps and no notable dents, damage or rust issues. The only minor point to mention is a few small paint blisters underneath the lower edge of the boot lid. The underbody is clean and tidy, with no notable damage or rust issues visible. The paintwork is glossy and presents extremely well throughout, with no significant marks or damage to note. The updated front and rear bumpers is a nice upgrade and give the car a fresher appearance.

Zustand gesamt
Good Saab 9-5 Aeros are becoming increasingly hard to find, and this example stands out with much of the expensive work already completed, tasteful upgrades and useful extras. The mileage is reasonable for its age, making this a fun and usable modern classic to enjoy for many years to come.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
