Zustand technisch
Started easily and ran smoothly and quietly. The more we drove it, and once the car was properly warmed up, it ran better and better after having been standing still for a few months. During a test drive out at Gärdet and Djurgården, the steering, clutch, gearbox, brakes, and everything one can expect from an older quality automobile worked as they should. The ride was calm and comfortable.
Not checked on a lift, but what could be seen looked good, and no comments from inspections regarding the undercarriage. The car has been rustproofed. -
Zustand Interieur
Fine original interior with mild wear from use consistent with age and mileage. Comfortable seats with good support and well-kept fabric. The same applies to door panels, trim panels, headliner, and carpets. Original protective floor mats in rubber/plastic. Steering wheel, controls, dashboard, and gauges in fine working condition. Beautifully preserved wood paneling. Working period-correct Blaupunkt Stockholm radio.

Zustand Exterieur
Appears to be partly original paint with some sections that have been upgraded. The reason is not clear, but the overall impression is good. Reconditioning with polishing will improve the impression. The original feel is there, and the glass, chrome, trim, and lighting details are also in good condition. Good wheels and Continental tires (3120), as well as nice hubcaps. The engine bay is in original condition with patina from use.

After more than 40 years, this car remains in solid condition with a satisfying click in the doors and firm, supportive seats – a car that has been used, well cared for, and that exudes dignity and quality. A reconditioning will further enhance its condition. Now that convertible, coupe, and lavishly equipped luxury versions cost fortunes, this car offers a simpler yet dignified everyday classic and a fine enthusiast's car for reasonable money.

Fakten zum Modell
The entry-level model W123, version 200, was initially not imported to Sweden, but with emissions control it was imported during the years 1980 - 1985. It then had a four-cylinder of 1997 cm3 producing 98 hp here. For the 1983 model year, a second facelift of the model was carried out and all versions received the rectangular headlights. A fresh air intake in front of the windshield was also added, along with modified roof pillars front and rear for reduced wind noise. The interior received expanded wood trim as well as new materials. For the fabric upholstery, the artificial leather was removed from the sides. There was also a new headrest design and improved legroom in the rear seat. Power steering, an economy gauge, and electric adjustment of the passenger-side mirror from the center console now became standard.
The W 123 model became a success and was reportedly manufactured in 2,696,915 examples.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
