This bike was registered for road use on April 29, 1999. That same day, it was purchased by its first owner, who kept it until October 6, 2024. He used it purely as an enthusiast's bike, and together with his wife he enjoyed many fine trips, traveling as far away as Spain. When age took its toll and the keys were put on the shelf, he wanted the current owner, his neighbor, to take it over. It has been well cared for through the years and is in mint condition, always kept in a heated garage when not being ridden. It comes with full history, including purchase receipts and all service records on paper. Since the neighbor, the current owner, took over, it has been kept in his heated garage and has not been ridden. Since the last inspection in 2022, it has covered 100 km, and over the past 10 years it has covered just over 1,000 km. The bike comes with documentation such as the original purchase contract, receipts, and inspection papers. The original muffler is also included.

Starts easily and right away, but was not test-driven by us. The current owner took it for a drive so we could see it running. Everything appears to be in good order, but a checkup with service before the next long trip is recommended. Equipped with "screaming eagle," but the original is included for those who wish to travel more anonymously.

Fakten zum Modell
Harley-Davidson was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1903 by William Harley and the Davidson brothers. The business gained momentum relatively quickly, achieving success in both sales and racing. During the First World War, which the USA entered in 1917, they sold over 20,000 motorcycles to the armed forces. By the early 1920s, HD was the world's largest manufacturer, with sales in more than 60 countries. As early as 1921 came the V-Twin engine of 1212.6 cc and the classic "teardrop" tank.
The company survived the Great Depression of the 1930s, and during the Second World War they produced over 90,000 motorcycles for military use. When the Japanese motorcycles arrived in force in the late 1960s and into the 1970s, outcompeting the classic motorcycle manufacturers, HD was bought by AMF, which led to a decline in both sales and quality. During the 1980s, a group of executives bought the company back and carried out a restructuring, improving both quality and marketing, and the company turned around and found new wind beneath its wings. With models such as the Dyna Wide Glide, HD was able to reap new successes as we entered the new millennium.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
