It was delivered new to its Swedish owner in August 1997. He was working in Germany at the time, brought the car home as personal relocation goods in 2002, and his wife has had it registered in her name since 2003. It has always been an enthusiast's car, driven a modest distance each year. The exception is a couple of years after the informal owner suffered a stroke and had his driver's license revoked. Service has been performed every year regardless of mileage, even if only a couple of thousand kilometers. Most importantly, the car has been reinforced and had a known design flaw addressed, whereby the engine's power in relation to the differential mounting and the sheet metal structure in the rear floor causes a visible crack in the structure. The repair was carried out professionally and according to recommendation. The engine has a familiar sound and a character that only a sharp straight-six can deliver. New clutch, radiator, a werks sport auspuffanlage (original sport muffler), gearbox linkage, brakes. springs and shock absorbers. Extensive receipt documentation.

Zustand Interieur
Colorful and attractive interior, the driver's seat has had a minor restoration of the leather, and in addition, the entire power seat frame is new. The original sound system has given way to a newer one with all of today's comfort features. More watts and power, of course, and a subwoofer in the trunk.

Fine and presentable original paint with a few small marks from normal use; on the left rear fender, side mirror, and on the top of the driver's door. New original-specification soft top in 2018. Original wheels with some scrapes and good Continental tires.

Fakten zum Modell
The BMW Z3 M Roadster was launched in 1997 as the hardest-edged and most powerful version of the compact Z3 roadster. It received the excellent engine from the M3, a wider body, an aggressive appearance, and four exhaust tips – a compact sports car with a slightly oversized heart. Production continued until 2002, and today the model is a highly regarded modern classic known for its combination of charm, raw power, and just the right amount of wild driving pleasure.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
