A one-owner truck purchased new by a man in California in 1986. The truck is extra equipped with the Extended cab and long bed, XLT and Lariat packages. It was mostly used for recreational activities and is in wonderful, unspoiled condition with few flaws. The low mileage can be verified with the accompanying documentation. When the current owner bought the truck last year, it had been sitting for a while, as the first owner had fallen ill and stopped using it. He brought it over to Sweden, where it has received a start-up service and a registration inspection.
The EU's new driving license directive opens up the possibility for a category B license, in certain cases, to be used for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of up to 4,250 kilos. The current main rule is that a category B license is valid for passenger cars and light trucks with a gross vehicle weight of no more than 3,500 kilos.
The new provision mainly applies to vehicles powered by alternative fuels, such as electricity, hydrogen, HVO, or biogas.
In Sweden, the broader 4,250-kilo rule has not yet been implemented. According to the Swedish Transport Agency, the rules are set to take effect on November 26, 2027.

The Ford runs excellently and has been serviced. The gearbox shifts smoothly and the car runs quietly without rattles. The engine is equipped with a Banks Power Pack. The AC cools well. Extra heavy-duty rear axle built to withstand stress.

Unusually nice interior for a truck, everything is intact and fresh. The rear seat folds down if you want to sleep overnight.

Straight and attractive body without damage; the car was repainted above the trim line many years ago. That paint has dulled, but a better finish could be brought back with polishing. Fine chrome and emblems. There is a small spot of rust up by the roof on the right side.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
